  • About April

My passion for photography began with my first camera, an Instamatic 100, in 1967. From that point, I was hooked.

I had my first SLR camera when i was 19. It was a 35 mm Mamiya. I drove my family crazy taking lots of pictures of them whenever i felt like it (except in those days practicing was a lot more expensive). I still do take tons of pictures, but this time on my new subjects: My grandson Shawny and, as of late, our second grandson Jacob Thomas.

As it turned out, my pictures were actually something others enjoyed as much as I did, so I decided to pursue photography as a profession. I began taking courses in the early 2000’s to learn the technical side of the profession and fine tune my craft

I am a member of the Professional Photographers Association of B.C. and I would be delighted to photograph and share your precious memories. I will photograph just about anything and everything and look forward to each new unique experience I have with my clients.
