Remembrance Day . Lest We Forget .

I think of my Dad often since he passed away.  But Remembrance Day is the day I feel his presence the most.  Dad served in the Korean War he deactivated land mines.  He had nerves of steel. These are just a few photos I have one when Dad joined the service and the other near the end of his service and of course a great photo of Dad & Mom when they got married in 1953.  I obviously didn’t take these photos but they are very special just the same.

Wonderful photos and memories April. I too have a Dad, grandfathers, great grandfathers, uncles and aunts that served so Nov 11 has a very special meaning for me as well. 🙂
