This is one of my favorite places in Victoria. Â It is a great place to walk and be quiet ~
We have had such a busy summer I haven’t had time to post much on my site ! Â Recently we had two of our favorite little people with us and as usual we had a lot of fun with them. Â Shawny & Jacob were really hard at work this time…doing a bit of nailing on our porch and some watering of sun burned flowers. Â The fair out at Bridge Lake was fun for the boys not a lot of animals but what was there was fulfilling enough for them. Â They even won some candy ! GG had a good visit with them too! Jacob enjoyed his popsicles and for some reason both boys love to play on my Gazelle. Â Shawny entertained us with his guitar playing~~~ well sorta’ & of course to end one of the days with home made pizza~~ Then Mommy comes to take them home ~~

While on one of our morning walks my friend and I encountered our local gaggle of geese.  These beautiful creatures take over Hwy. 97 & the Bird sanctuary  in 100 Mile every year.  They are never in a rush …feed and “poop” wherever they please .  They are fearless when it comes to protecting their young.  We usually head in the other direction when we see them  so we don’t scare them into the traffic on Hwy. 97. I musn’t forget the beautiful wild “shasta daisies” and the “grass in the wind”..
