These winter sunsets  are candy to the eyes ~ The last photo I added was last night’s (Jan.19/13) sunset in North Vancouver ~ I thought it was worth adding because it was so pretty (I took the photo from my son’s patio in North Van)
It never ceases to amaze me how these little critters still make a living at 29 below ~ I so enjoy watching these birds ~  I’ll have to get as gutsy as them  and photograph them outside instead of cheating through the windows all the time ~ excuse the dirty windows…

Kids bring out the kid in me.  I haven’t gone  “tobogganing” since our kids were little.  It’s a lot of fun with the grandkids.

Jacob was quite annoyed (left) he thought we “helped” him down the hill… Shawn hard at work.
Shawn discovered an easier way to go down the hill. Â Jacob gave up on the toboggan.
