My visit with my little fuzzy friend~

Life in the Cariboo may bore some but not I.  I am forever fascinated with the wildlife it has to offer ~ in my own backyard.  This little fellow had no fear of me as he made his living eating bird seed which my hubby provides year after year.  A friend told me that this bird is a “Common Redpoll”

here is a link to this beauty little bird…

For those of you that have never attended a Chinese New Year Parade I thought I would bring it to you via my site.  I had so many wonderful images to choose from I had a hard time narrowing it down.  i think this is my longest photo blog ever .  I hope you enjoy !

Mini Holiday ~

We took a Mini Holiday last weekend to Vancouver.  One of the highlights was the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park.  This is a place where  adults and children alike can enjoy themselves.  We were all quite fascinated with the sea creatures.

Wild horses couldn’t drag these guys away ~This little fellow put on quite a show for everyone.looking for crumbs~beautiful little creatures~The room with a view.  We’ve stayed at The Pinnacle at the Pier before.  I must say it is one of the nicest hotels  in North Vancouver.  They have a great swimming pool and gym.  The rooms are very comfortable.  Pets are welcome !The boys running around the pier ( giving Mommy heart failure ~ didn’t realize Jessi could run so fast lol .  She runs like a Gazelle)Enjoying some oysters & shrimp at the Lonsdale Quay Market.Just kidding ~ I only let him on the stairs…Such a nice view in the evening.Guitar Man ~Morning has broken ~ Off for another adventure. Stay tuned for Chinese New Year Parade~
